Training in Markas

MarkaSeeds: a training project designed for our employees’ development

15.06.2021 - Italy

When certain skills are necessary for the growth of a company, there are two ways to proceed: scouting new talents with the necessary skills, or focusing on internal staff training in order to develop the competences needed for the company’s future success.

At Markas, we believe that the growth of our company is closely linked to the growth of our employees, and that’s why we continue investing in them. The latest training project carried out is MarkaSeeds: an extended training program aimed at developing employees’ skills that are key for the company’s success.

The path towards growth

17 months of training, numerous innovative learning techniques and a lot of commitment: MarkaSeeds represents the path of selected devoted employees, who embody Markas’ values, to personal and professional growth. During the training scheme, which included monthly meetings between October 2019 and February 2021, the participants had the chance to acquire knowledge and develop key skills that according to the company’s management are considered strategic for the company’s future.

Knowledge of Markas processes, problem solving, innovative thinking and cost analysis were just some of the skills developed during this experience. Overall, MarkaSeeds has been a deeper development journey on a personal and professional level. To achieve such a result, many different training approaches were used. From theoretical lessons to outdoor team building activities and role playing workshops, there was a great variety of activities in order to ensure a lifewide learning experience for all participants.

The skills of Markas of the Future

In-house training means creating ‘knowledge ambassadors’, who can share their skills and expertise, and therefore can contribute to building Markas of tomorrow.

MarkaSeeds first edition has been a real inspiration for continuous improvement, not only as individuals but also as an organization.'

'We are committed to continuing on this path. This was the first of many more editions to come in the future.’ says Sara Dalprà, Training Manager, who has been responsible for organizing this exciting project.
