Model 231
In accordance with Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, Markas has adopted an Organisational, Management and Control Model (MOGeC) to ensure transparency and legal compliance, and to minimise the risk of criminal offences within the company.
We firmly believe that the involvement of all employees and stakeholders is essential to maintaining the effectiveness and timeliness of the MOGeC, while responding to ongoing changes within the company and the regulatory framework.
To this end, a Supervisory Body, which is autonomous and independent, is responsible for continuously monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of the Model. However, this oversight can only be fully effective with the active cooperation of all parties involved.
A dedicated reporting form, accessible via the link below, enables anyone to notify the Supervisory Body of potential breaches of Model 231, the Code of Ethics, or any suspected criminal offences of which they become aware.
The reporting system also provides an effective, ongoing communication channel for all stakeholders on other important matters, such as ethics, environmental protection, and workplace health and safety.
Anyone submitting a report is guaranteed the utmost confidentiality in accordance with Italian Law No. 179/2017 on whistleblowing.
In recognition of Markas's high standards of legality and effective internal controls, the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) awarded the company the maximum score of three stars in its Legality Rating assessment. Further details are available in the Certifications section of our website.
