As part of its innovation initiative, Markas has introduced a pioneering service model together with Romy Robotics: the billing of cleaning robots is based on the actual area cleaned. This makes the use of robots not only efficient in large facilities but also cost-effective in smaller areas starting from 80 square meters.
Efficient in practice
At the BG Trauma Hospital Murnau and the Ohlstadt Clinic, in Germany, a total of 18 compact vacuum robots are currently in operation. They clean corridors, offices, lecture halls, and training rooms while making a significant contribution to quality assurance. By automating routine tasks, cleaning costs can be reduced by five to ten percent, while the overall quality of cleaning is sustainably improved.
