Family Audit: how did it all begin?
The Family Audit certification goes back a long way. It is a result of a journey and the company's willingness to commit at all levels and to directly involve its employees, acknowledging their needs and requirements.
What was the real starting point? Markas' Employee Satisfaction Survey that took place in 2022: a project that involved over 9,000 employees throughout Italy and gave each of them the opportunity to point out the aspects requiring intervention or improvement.
In fact, Markas' Employee Satisfaction Survey played a key role in helping Markas understand in detail which topics have been of most interest to the staff and transform the feedback received into concrete projects that promote a well-being and work-life balance.

So, what projects have been successfully rolled out?
Following Markas' Employee Satisfaction Survey, several projects have been launched in regard. One of these, for example, is the return of Markas Lift: a free career guidance and personal development program for the children of employees aged between 18 and 29.
Markas Ideas, on the other hand, is a project designed to enable every member of the staff, through the submission of their own ideas, to become the real protagonists of corporate change.
Next comes MarkasXvoi: an initiative designed to foster communication among Markas' various work premises or offices and to give employees the opportunity to meet with the management, other employees and directors.

Finally, an 'enhanced' version of 'Markas Leadership Program' was launched in order to also cover the needs of Cleaning Service Managers and give them the right knowledge when it comes to business management, people motivation and effective communication.
These are just some of the projects that Markas has decided to implement in order to respond effectively to Markas' Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Also, in this way, the company continues along the path that has led to the Family Audit certification, an accreditation that, once again, demonstrates Markas' real focus: the well-being of its employees.
